The National Police Service (NPS) has arrested four suspects linked to the fatal shooting of Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo Were, marking a major breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into the killing of the outspoken legislator.

Motive probe underway
“NPS investigators and the technical team are working tirelessly, leveraging their expertise, to establish the motive behind the fatal shooting and to bring all those involved to justice,” said NPS spokesperson and Director of Corporate Communication, Resila Onyango.
The NPS has called on the public to remain calm and refrain from speculation, assuring the nation of a thorough and impartial investigation.
“As a service, we urge the public to remain calm and refrain from speculating, as our teams work diligently to ensure a thorough and impartial investigation,” the statement added.
