Global Imports Kenya is fast emerging as one of the most trusted names in the country’s shipping and sourcing industry, redefining how Kenyans access authentic products from overseas.
The company has positioned itself as a one-stop solution for individuals and businesses looking to import goods seamlessly, affordably, and reliably.
With its vibrant online presence on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, Global Imports Kenya connects buyers in Nairobi and across the country with suppliers from global markets.
Its operations span major trading hubs such as China, Dubai, the United States, and India. Customers are assured of pocket-friendly prices and straightforward processes that bring the world closer to their doorstep.
“Our mission is to ensure that clients import their goods seamlessly,” says the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Peshy Official, in an interview with Newsflash. “We are here to demystify the importation process, make it affordable, and give our clients peace of mind.”
A clear, transparent model
Global Imports Kenya operates with a model that emphasizes transparency and clarity for its customers. The company educates members on importation basics, helping them understand essential industry terms and costs.
For instance, FOB (Free on Board) refers to the price paid to a supplier for goods, excluding shipping charges. MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) dictates the least number of items a supplier is willing to sell, often 10 pieces or more.

Customers are also made aware of additional costs such as freight, shipping, and clearing fees, which are paid once the goods arrive in Kenya.
By breaking down these terms, the company ensures that first-time importers and seasoned traders alike are not caught off guard by hidden charges or industry jargon.
Shipping made simple
Global Imports Kenya offers both air and sea freight services, giving clients flexibility depending on urgency and budget. Shipping by sea takes approximately 30–35 days, while air freight reduces the waiting period to about 21 days.
Once an order’s minimum quantity has been met, members pay the FOB price. After the goods land in Nairobi, customers settle the freight fee.

The company then clears the goods through shipping agents and dispatches them to individual owners.
Pick-ups are conveniently done at Star Mall A22 along Tom Mboya Street, a central location easily accessible to clients from different parts of the city.
Building trust through community
Beyond logistics, Global Imports Kenya has created a vibrant community of importers. Members not only benefit from shared deals but also exchange tips and experiences on sourcing, costs, and trends.
This sense of community has given the company a competitive edge in a market where trust and reliability are paramount.

The future of importation
The company’s vision goes beyond facilitating trade. It aims to empower ordinary Kenyans by giving them access to global markets once thought to be reserved for established businesses.

Whether it’s fashion, electronics, or household goods, customers now have a dependable partner to help them source products directly from trusted suppliers abroad.
As Peshy sums it up: “We are redefining importation. With us, it’s about affordability, transparency, and trust. That is the future we want for every Kenyan importer.”
