Juventus kicked off their FIFA Club World Cup campaign in stunning fashion, crushing Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates 5-0 in Doha on Wednesday night. Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceição each netted twice, while Kenan Yildiz added one to complete the rout.
The Italian giants dominated from the first whistle, going into halftime with a commanding 4-0 lead. Their pace and precision left the Emirati side with no response, as Juventus issued a loud warning to Group G rivals, including Manchester City.
This emphatic win marks one of the biggest victories of the tournament so far, second only to Bayern Munich’s 10-0 demolition of Auckland City. Juventus will next face Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca and hope to secure early qualification to the Round of 16.

Meanwhile, in Group H, Red Bull Salzburg overcame harsh weather conditions in Cincinnati to defeat Mexico’s Pachuca 2-1. Goals from Oscar Gloukh and Karim Onisiwo sealed the win, despite a beautiful equalizer from Bryan Gonzalez.
Following a 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Al Hilal, Salzburg currently top the group standings, setting up a tense next round.
Elsewhere across the tournament, Bayern, PSG, and Manchester City all notched convincing wins, while Chelsea, Flamengo, and River Plate also made strong starts in their respective groups.
The Club World Cup 2025 continues through the week with more big names in action as teams battle for global supremacy.
