NAIROBI, Kenya— Kansai Plascon Kenya has launched its 2026 Rangi Ya Chapaa promotion, increasing instant cash rewards for painters to KSh 300 per qualifying paint tin, up from KSh 200.
The move represents a 50 per cent increase and underscores the company’s continued focus on offering practical financial support to painters and contractors across the country.
The nationwide promotion runs from January 1 to March 31, 2026, targeting painters, fundis, and contractors. It is designed to provide immediate financial value at the point of purchase, easing cash-flow pressures for tradespeople, particularly at the start of the year.
Instant rewards at point of purchase
Under the promotion, each qualifying tin of selected Kansai Plascon paint products contains a scratch card that can be redeemed instantly via M-Pesa. The company says the instant payout model eliminates delays and complex redemption processes, allowing painters to benefit immediately after purchase.

Speaking during the launch, Kota Enami, Managing Director of Kansai Plascon Kenya, said the increase in rewards reflects the company’s recognition of painters’ vital role in the construction and finishing sector.
“Rangi Ya Chapaa is built on simplicity, trust, and consistency,” Enami said. “By increasing the instant reward to KSh 300, we are delivering greater value and recognising the contribution of painters as they start the year.”
Strengthening trade relationships
Marketing Manager Kunal Biswas said the promotion was intentionally designed to be straightforward and transparent.
“Painters buy a tin, scratch, and receive instant cash — no delays, no complications,” Biswas said. “Increasing the reward strengthens the value proposition and reinforces our relationship with the trade.”

He added that the promotion also helps differentiate Kansai Plascon products in a competitive market by offering tangible, immediate benefits beyond product quality.
Long-term commitment to painters
The Rangi Ya Chapaa promotion forms part of Kansai Plascon Kenya’s broader strategy to support painters through instant rewards, loyalty initiatives, and long-term engagement programmes.
Enami said the company remains focused on building trust and sustaining relationships with the painters and contractors who use its products daily, noting that such initiatives are central to Kansai Plascon’s community-driven approach to business growth.
