Women leaders movement championing for Maendeleo Mashinani is set to tour Bungoma county.
The Inua Mama movement will tour Bungoma county on November Friday 8, 2019.
Bungoma County woman representative Catherine Wambilianga says the team will be hosted at the yet to be identified venue that will be communicated in due course.
“All arrangements are almost complete and everything is set for the big day, I urge area residents to turn up in large numbers and welcome our leaders,” she said.
The legislator stated that Inua Mama movement advocates for the financial empowerment of women, youths and people living with disabilities.
The group also alleged to be against the Building Bridges Initiative being proposed by proponents of the handshake if it lacks inclisivity.
The BBI initiative is yet to be tabled for public digestion after Punguza Mizigo bill that was fronted by the Third Way Alliance party leader Dr.Akuru Aukot failed to meet the thresh hold following the rejection by majority county Assemblies.

Another group of women leaders known as Embrace team chaired by former Nairobi woman representative Rachel Shebesh supports the ODM party leader Raila Odinga led BBI bill.
“If the leaked BBI report is true then I can’t support it, there is no way CDF would be removed from constituencies to wards, it also proposes that MCAs should be degree holders for them to be elected, this is awkward,” she said.
